Last week we discussed one of the many issues that Human Resource Leaders are faced with in today’s competitive world, how to offer compensation to attract high performers when budgets are tight.  Today we are looking at workforce training and development.  Investing in training of entry level employees is a common Human Resource woe.  Finding the resources for quality training and then the time for employees to do the education offers serious concerns to employers.  Employees on the front lines are some of your hardest workers and may not have time to attend an extended offsite training.

Training and employee development does not have to require a lot of time or money.  By investing in your leaders and being creative with your resources you can invest in your workforce so you can have both a loyal and productive team.

Next week we will discuss the issue of technology and how adapting to innovation keep Human Resource Leaders up at night.
